The Memory Cleaner works OK if we change the compatibility mode in the properties of MemCleaner.exe to (Run thisprogram in compatibility mode for: > Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
Temporary Solution : Make a shortcut of MemCleaner.exe on the Desktop with changes above, and start it from there.

Memory cleaner needed in all beta vistas, now RTM and after it is better.
You also have to use an usb device to have the readyboost function (2GB is good enough). Anyway, it is always better to have memcleaner ready in emergency situations.
It helped me many times in Vista in the past six months.

No matter what, even in compatibility mode for xp sp2, it doesnt work. It just says Cannot clean memory by repeated clening. It doesnt even give me a correct reading of my physical mem!!!

Larnika,
Please have a look to #1 and #3 of this thread.
It is greyed-out in Vista. Use the Temporary solution if you want to use it.
