Startup Manager - not working as expected

Hi,

I have ASC Pro 10.2.0.721 and decided to give a try to the startup manager module.

The "disable" option works with no problem at all, but the "delay" option is not working at all.

Expected result:

When a startup item or service is set to "delay", actually Startup Manager should properly delay the item or service, so when windows is started, the delayed item or service must be delayed WITHOUT any issue or secondary effect. basically startup manager should be smart enough to detect other dependencies and so to also delay those dependencies

Actual result:

delayed items or services are delayed, but any dependency seems that is not considered. So it happens that programs with delayed items or services, are started with errors, here some details:

Program; Ashampoo Snap 9

Delayed components: Startup item

Behavior: each time windows is started and Ashampoo snap is launched, the "welcome" window is always loaded, even if the checkmark "show this again" is disabled.

Program: OneDrive

Delayed components: Startup item

Behavior: each time windows is started and OneDrive is launched, it shows an error that the program/service was nor properly started

Program: Bionix Wallpaper Changer

Delayed components: Startup item

Behavior: each time windows is started, the program for some strange reason is loaded twice

Program: HP Deskjet 5520 series (Scan to PC)

Delayed components: Startup item

Behavior: each time windows is tarted a popup appears that Scan to PC was not properly started

Can this be fixed???

If Startup Manager "delayed" function works as expected it will dramatically shorten windows boot time and will not generate "issues" with delayed programs

Thanks

Hi ektorbarajas,

Sorry for the issues. We appreciate if you can help us look into them by providing the following information.

1. Send us the screenshot of Startup Manager so that we can see the details of the startup items you set to delay.

2. Send us the screenshots of the issue and error message you receive with these programs.

3. Download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe -> Double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click 'Save report'. -> After it finishes, you will get a popup window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click 'OK' button to open that saved folder. -> Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Thanks in advance.
