I decided to try the ASC 10 to determine if I want my customers to purchase or try themselves.

When I used all the suggested Auto functions, I noted that IE had become much slower at startup and that the Chrome browser could no longer access the internet.

Yes I rebooted, etc. Not my first rodeo - my mistake was assuming the program would work as advertised and did not make a Recovery Point before testing.

It was easier and more timely to just use an older Recovery point and fix what ever ASC had 'fixed' . I lost some work and some programs on recovery BUT now Chrome could access the internet and IE seemed much quicker on start up.

 

Before I try this again on a 'test' computer, I would like to know if there is a repair, as an internet search shows up as this being a problem with others.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Please send us the requested file for further analysis when you use Advanced SystemCare and encounter this issue again.

 

Download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe.

Then double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click "Save report". After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click "OK" button to open that saved folder. Please send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I still have the Application on server marked suspect. I could re-install, run all the auto stuff and see if I can repeat the problem.

I'll download the mentioned file needed to send a report and post back here.

 

By the way, I liked the portable Toolbox
