Junk files question

Recommended Posts

Been using ASC for years. Today for first time it identifies all the Windows msi files (about 6GB) as junk files for deleting. Is this right?

Hi,

Usually, our program will only list those useless filed for deletion and it will not influence your PC performance.

Have you deleted those msi files yet?

Any problem with your PC?

Please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe.Then double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click "Save report". After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click "OK" button to open that saved folder. Please send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Thanks.

2 weeks without a reply so not worth wasting time on this. Now SpyBot tells me product isn't safe so easier to delete and use something else.

Hi tisza,

So sorry for our late reply.

1) For the first issue, you could delete those msi files listed by our program. Please check whether there is any issue after the deletion.

Please run the tool http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe and send us the requested file if you encounter any problem.

2) Our program is absolutely safe and clean.

Would you please reinstall the latest SpyBot to see whether you will get the detection?

Then please send us a screenshot of the deletion of SpyBot.
