Bug in screenshot tool of monitor

The screen shot tool doesn't take screenshot of metro apps, charms or the hidden notification area icons. I think this could be fixed.

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop�. So you will get zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop. Please send it to us so that we can look into the issue further.

As the monitor.exe app can work on desktop only it can't take screenshot of start screen or metro apps of Windows 8

BTW, you can take the screenshot of metro apps of Windows 8.1 by splitting the screen with Desktop and any Metro app.

I've tried that but still that misses a lot of key areas of metro apps. Isn't there a way to fix this. Also you can't take Charms bar screenshots

Sorry, Screenshot feature in Performance Monitor does not support taking a screenshot of metro apps, charms or the hidden notification area icons.

 

I have sent your concerns to our product manager for serious consideration. Hope this will be available in near future.
