Disable Deep Scan. It should only be used by experienced users who understand the workings of the Registry. When using Deep Scan every item in the scan list needs to be studied before being repaired to ensure that it is safe to do so.

Scanning without the Deep Clean is perfectly adequate for everyday users. In over 5 years of using ASC I have never used Deep Scan (Deep Clean) and I have never had an issue with my machine.

Good news for you. We have updated the tool to solve this situation. Please reinstall ASC v8,4 from http://update.iobit.com/dl/advanced-...care-setup.exe
