Hi kira,

Thanks for your feedback so much, our engineers have developed a solution to solve this issue. Please kindly help us test it.:-)

1) Please open the task manager, then close the process ASCService.exe.

2) Please download the ASCService.rar and extract it to get ASCService.exe.

3) Then please use the downloaded ASCService.exe to replace the original ASCService.exe in program files of ASC.

Usual path:C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 5

4) Lastly, please restart your PC to see whether the delayed programs start normally. please let us know the result and send us the ASCService_Log.txt under the program files of ASC

ASCService.rar

Hi:

It works percfectly, but I have two more issues now...

1.- When the delayed programs start, this two folder are opened:

C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 5\Boottime\Backup\common

C:\

and i don't know why...

2.- If I put msn and daemon tools (the ones in the previous screenshots) delayed, after restarting the computer they are not, ie, they start at the startup of the system and in the startup manager they are "enabled (?)" (" habilitados" in my spanish version)

any ideas?

Hi kira,

About the first issue, please use the way like last time to help us look into it.

1) Please find the Boottime folder under %appdata%\IObit\Advanced SystemCare V5, then compact this folder and send it to us.

2) Please open the small tool StartUp Manager in the Toolbox, then take a screenshot of it and send it to us, we will look into it.

Guide for Taking Screenshots:

http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/gen...screenshot.htm

About the second issue, do you mean you cannot delay the msn and daemon tools? Even you set the two programs delayed, they are also showed enable in next PC Startup?:?:

Hi:

Here is the folder:

The screenshots:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14114808/Screenshot%20%2816h%2014m%2051s%29.jpg

About the second issue, yes, is exactly as you say, if I delayed them, in the next startup they start normally and in the startup manager they are set as enabled...

Hi kira,

About the first issue, please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 5\Boottime\Backup\common to see whether the folder is empty or not, if it is empty, please delete this folder and to see whether there is the same issue.:?:

About the second issue, as enoskype said, the two programs can not be delayed.

Problems to adjust Startup Manager in different users

Hello folks,

I have just got some problems with the ASC5's tool, Startup Manager. It was working normally, but suddenly it stopped working properly. The programs I select for a user change the setting to all users in my computer. The problem is that 3 days ago it wasn't happenning.

Even worse: each time I log on in the same user, the programs listed at Startup Manager are different...

I will try to reinstall de Advanced SystemCare to try to fix it! But I think it had better to warn you, if it does happen in the future again...
