He visto muchos post que indican que el programa con antivirus no actualizaba,su base de datos, tambien lei que fueron copiados los logs correspondientes, casi todos con similares caracteristicas y detalles , entonces pense , esperaran la nueva version para corregir el problema? hoy instale la version 5.6.3.272 ,lamentablemente el problema continua .Ahora mi pregunta es por que con el unico producto de IOBIT que no funciona la actualizacion es justo el antivirus, uso advanced windows care en sus versiones 5 y la beta 6 (genial version ) y la actualizaciones en estos programas funciona.El antivirus ya lo deje de usar , esperando una solucion definitiva

Hi :)

 

I really like the latest version of ASC-AV, very nice package I am considering purchasing.

I installed it last night, and I have it set to notify me when it updates, but I have only received

one notification of auto update and I looked at the autoupdate.log file and there are a lot of failures.

 

Last autoupdate for me was 11:59am EST which updated fine. Last update check after awaking computer out of sleep, was

6:04pm EST and it failed to get update data from server. i hope this issue finds resolution.

 

Very nice suite of programs, excellent anti virus that does not hog the system. Great work! Hopefully

update issues resolved soon.

I wonder if the update prevention problem may be caused by a file-size restriction of the auto-update file, or something like that ???

Not sure I am following your thought. A restriction from the server side or something from within the program? From my log, it appears it simply is not communicating with BD server properly. Autoupdate worked only once so far for me. if I check manually, it too will fail then work after 2 or 3 tries.

I was referring to a File size restriction, in your computer,

programed into the IObit program or some other source.

 

I mentioned that because I have encountered that programming oversite problem with another program, by a different software company.

 

There appears to be a real problem, so maybe the programmers will find something. I was only giving a suggestion, that may or may not be related ???

 

I have found that if I come up with these suggestions more people start to try to figure out why I am Wrong, and they find a Solution! :lol:

Oh ok :) That is an interesting thought. It would appear to me that the autoupdate feature is not programmed to run very often, maybe once a day? I do not have it scheduled, just on autoupdate automatically. Also i find when I first boot up, windows 7 action/security center says antivirus is not turned on...when I open the action center and click "turn on" then it appears the autoupdate starts.

 

I think they need to review both the current autoupdate failure and the frequency of checking. I really like the program, just a few things to work out :)

 

Thanks for your idea...it did indeed make me look deeper into it :)

En ningun momento dije que reinstale, el primer post fue del 3 de agosto , desinstale esa version , cuando salio la version del 6 de agosto volvio a probar y el error continua

 

en síntesis

 

1) version anterior al 6 de agosto probada descubro el error, la desinstalo

 

2)version del 6 agosto la instalacion es limpia sin ninguna version previa instalada el error continua,desinstalo la version

 

Otra pregunta tendra algo que ver que la bases de datos que usa IOBIT es para 32 bits y no la nativa de 64 bits de bitdefender?

Do you have any kind of system files protection?

 

Can you give us the version information of bdfsfltr.sys and trufos.sys files @: C:\Windows\system32\Drivers

Then double click to run this tool and click Save report to Desktop. Send us this report IObit_Debug_Info.txt so that the programmers can get the detailed information to look into.
