Winodws 8.1 startup error after driver update "system thread exception not handled"

After driver updates with DB, the laptop restart and restart with error :

"system thread exception not handled"

I can't get out of it !

Welcome to the Forum.

 

If you had looked at the many posts in the Driver Booster section relating to this issue, you would have obtained the solution.

You must start your pc in Safe mode, launch DB and rollback the driver which caused the issue to the previous driver which worked.

 

If you diid multiple driver updates and are unsure which driver caused the issue, rollback one driver at a time until you find the offending driver. Note the driver and post the info here so that Iobit can investigate the reason.

How do you start in safe mode with windows 8.1 ?

Google...... start in safe mode with windows 8.1...and take your pick. It will be a good excercise as it is important that you should know how to start your system in safe mode.

I tried all sort of possibility but no way ; no safe mode !

I reinstal from scratch…

The problem came from a lenovo utility : "USB Blocker" which conflict with an update of Windows. I deleted the utility and no more problem.
