Sims 3 0xc0000005 [Fixed by reinstall of Sims 3]

I keep on having the same problem every time I try to play The Sims 3 through Game Booster: After a few minutes the program just crashes. Here's the error I got in the diagnosis:

I've been looking over the web for solutions, and so far I've tried reinstalling the program and all the expansion packs, turning off DEP for all of them, and opening the program directly from the .exe file, all with no success. Does anyone here know anything else I could try?

Hi Cicely

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll try downloading the latest version once I finish work.

I don't think I'm having a problem with the game itself, since I've always been able to play it even without RGB.

Just checked, and I do indeed have version 3.7.

Still no luck playing Sims. I just tried accessing it from TS3W.exe, and here's what I got in the diagnosis:

Hi Cicely

Thanks, but after doing another reinstall (this time removing all my previous Sims 3 stuff) it's working fine (so far). As a matter of fact I don't actually think it was a problem with RGB as I tried running the game without it, and I got the same problem. Must have been a dodgy file somewhere that I've deleted by now.

Must also say that I'm finding RGB to be a good, functional product so far, and it definitely works.
