Cool. I have tried several different Mobile Security/Care programs. I have only found one that works really well for my devices and have used the brand for years on all my devices. That would be the Norton products by Symantec. I have also been using IObit for several years and have had great results with your products, as well, and surprisingly, I have not had any conflicts using both. So, now I am off to get started with the new version of AMC. I hope for one of my older devices that it will definitely help with speed. Our ISP sucks...and I mean that literally. I guess that is why it has such an appropriate name...WindStream. Anytime you are asked when setting something up on a device who your cable/ISP is, you never see WindStream listed. I think that tells you how bad they are. So bad that no one recognizes them. They will not even let you set up a VPN. They control everything you do and if you find a work around, they eventually figure it out and prevent you from using many good security features. They are so slow, always have outages for hours and sometimes days. I need to figure out a new way to get better service since they are the only option in our area at this time except for satellite. And those that have satellite have issues because of weather. No one can win around here. I do use my own equipment because it it so much better than what our ISP provides, and I'm about to upgrade my router which I've been told will make a big difference. With 3 stories for a wireless home network, the new router is suited for larger homes in excess of 6000 square feet. That's a lot of space and we are over half of that, but not quite 75% of 6000 square feet. It should help eliminate a lot of dead spots and increase our speed. Hopefully we will get the minimum speed we should be getting and never have and then some according to the specifications and consultation with a network specialist. Hope it's good for all my devices. Will find out in about a week. Okay, shutting up and moving on to getting started with AMC's new version. |;-)?
