The uninstaller sees much! I am only expressing concern that average users may start uninstalling things they shouldn't. But of course they could do that anyway with any number of uninstallers on the market.

 

Perhaps a way for users to see easily system related programs (or manufacturer's) by a special icon or warning that removal may possibly be detrimental?

If Advanced Uninstaller were integrated into ASC then I guess we couldn't use it to uninstall ASC, is that right ?

If so, it wouldn't be usefull when It comes to a 'Clean Install' of ASC

 

I would still like it to replace the Soft Uninstaller that is in ASC at the moment, Advanced Uninstaller seems to be better and is only 687 KB while Soft Uninstaller is 1.31 MB.

So that means a setup similar to Smart Defrag where it stands alone but has a shortcut in ASC

 

I will be adding Advanced Uninstaller to my FlashDrive alongside my other 'cleanup' tools :smile:

Cannot get it to see or uninstall x64 bit installations. Will this change in future and give support for the uninstalation of x64 bit software? But I like it allot, very well done.

Please delete Advanced Uninstaller 1.0.

 

The name of the uninstaller software is changed from Advanced Uninstaller to IObit Uninstaller, as there is a 3rd party program with similar name.

 

The latest version of the uninstaller is IObit Uninstaller 1.1. It has more functions such as toolbars uninstaller and higher detection rate. (Rarely used programs)

-Change the name to: Sut_iobituninstaller.exe

-Delete : Sut_Softuninstaller.exe

 

You will have the new version of uninstaller in ASC.

 

It also work for all the translations.

 

I think, IObit is going to put it in the setup file in the next available version of ASC, so it will automatically delete the Advanced Uninstaller and replace with IObit Uninstaller.

Hi Gary,

 

You have not renamed iobituninstaller.exe to Sut_iobituninstaller.exe to see it under Admin Tools tab.

 

It will show as IObit Uninstaller.

Hi, did you change the name by putting Sut_ at the beginning of the name ?

 

-Change the name to: Sut_iobituninstaller.exe

 

Plus: It will be under the Admin Tools tab
