  • Installing the latest 7 version still opens Version 6.4.

As I stated in the title. I install 7 no problems and it auto-launches the program with 7, but if I close it and open it from the Start Menu, it opens 6.4.
I did upgrade from 6, so I understand the corruption, but uninstalling it doesn't help. Installing 7 again makes it 6.4 after closing the program and opening it.

    Hi megaman,

Please help us further look into the issue you reported.

    1) Send us the relevant screenshot of the issue.
    2) Download the tool http://testdemo.iobit.com/GetIObitConfigurationFile.exe and send us the requested file.

Double click GetIObitConfigurationFile.exe to run it, click the button 'Save report to Desktop'
Wait for a while until you see a file IU__logs_xxxxxxxx.log generated on your desktop.(xxxxxxxx should be the actual date when this file is generated.)
Send that file iu_logs_xxxxxxxx.log to us.

    Thanks.

It would say that the file is invalid when I tried to upload it.

          1. I tried it but it didn't work.
          2. I decided to install and uninstall it, with a restart, then run the program again. It ran and found an iobit folder in my Users folder, odd that it installed there.
          3. Ran the cleaner on that folder and searched, no more stuff found. Installed 7.1 and all is well.
          Thank you.
