Hello everyone,

After the release of Start Menu 8 version 2.1, we receive some feedback about how to change hotkeys for Start Menu 8. If you have the same question, please follow the steps below.

1. Right click Start button to choose Settings to open the settings window.

2. Click General on the left, then you can change the hotkeys on the right.

3. After the change, click Apply button.

I love the product; but the Screenshot hotkey cost me hours of productivity, trying to find out what was interfering with my normal Alt+E functionality. For us oldtimers, ALT+E is the shortcut for the edit menu in all office versions since 2003. While new users probably rely on the "ribbon"; it is more efficient to utilize keyboard shortcuts.

It would have saved me considerable time if the "screenshot" window actually indicated that it was part of Start Menu 8
