Hi mikemorhaime,

Welcome to IObit Forum!

The files are hidden and without index is not mean they can not be searched out.

If you do not want some files to be seen by others, you can use our another program Protected Folder. You can find more details about it and download it from the link here http://www.iobit.com/en/password-protected-folder.php

Cheer.:-)

The files are NOT indexed. If you read my first post you'll realize I've disabled the indexing on that drive, nothing is indexed there, my files are hidden and not shown and your stupid program still shows the hidden files!!!

Check your stupid program! I'm uninstaling and reviewing it with the lowest score on all of the software websites until you fix your stupid program!

I use protected folder, have marked the folder as hidden, disabled windows search indexing, and deleted the index file. Start Menu search still shows ALL files. This completely defeats the purpose of the security software you've created. It seems the only way to remove these files from search results is to stop using your product. Please fix this

Hi bishop9,

Welcome to IObit forum!

The file protected by Protected Folder can only be searched out, but cannot be opened. We'll consider your feedback carefully to improve our program in the future.

Have a great time.http://forums.iobit.com/core/images/icons/icon7.png
