Microsoft Word 2016 Will NOT Run From Start Menu v3.0.0.1

Microsoft Word 2016 will not run from Start Menu v3.0.0.1 unless you run it as administrator. There are no problems running from the native Windows 10 Start Menu. I have also downloaded Start10 from Stardock Software to see if it has a problem. Word 2016 runs fine there, the only problem is with OIBit StartMenu 8. I am running Windows 10 Enterprise x64. Any help is appreciated.

Hi SkyNet3,

Welcome to IObit Forum!

Please download and reinstall Start Menu 8 from the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/pkneny7gr0v8tj0/sm_setup.exe?dl=0

Then open Microsoft Word 2016 from the start menu of Start Menu 8 to check whether the issue appears again or not.

If it appears again, please download the tool GetIObitConfigurationFile.exe from https://www.dropbox.com/s/zeebd524gwwg67b/GetIObitConfigurationFile.exe?dl=0 Then double click to run it and click “Save report to Desktop”. After it finished, click OK. Then you will get the file iu_logs_xxx.log on your desktop. Please send iu_logs_xxx.log to us for further checking.

Thanks.

Here are the logs that you requested. It would be nice to have this resolved. I am using the downloaded Office 365 Local Install Version. I get this error trying to upload the logs:

Invalid File iu_logs_20160317.log
