Subscription question

I just renewed AMC Security via Avangate today. I uninstalled the app, then installed it fresh and entered the new license, then logged into my account...the expiration date is now back to April 29, 2016. Will it automatically extend at that time? Is there something I am missing? Oddly, although the account said it expired on April 29th, in the Play Store it says the sub expires on July 2nd, 2016.
