    Hi inferno43,

    Thanks for your feedback.

IObit Malware Fighter is an anti-malware software not anti-virus software. Thus, it can be terminated in windows task manager.

Generally, only the anti-virus software can not be terminated in windows task manager.

If you have any other confusions, please do not hesitate to tell us.

All your feedbacks are quite important for us to make improvements.:-D

Cicley, this (Windows Task Manager) is how I lost IMF PRO 1.7 this afternoon. So thank you for the future warning!

        A normal executable procedure!

        Hi WriterJC,

As Cicely explained, IMF is not an Anti-virus software and can be closed (exited) at any time you like, so, also you can kill IMF.exe process from Windows Task Manager if you wish without any harm to the PC or any other software including IMF itself.

Just after that, double clicking on IMF.exe in IObit Malware Fighter main folder or using the shortcut to it (If you have one) will start the process again without a glitch.

Sorry, but it is not possible to loose IMF Free or PRO if you terminate it through Task Manager.

In summary, IMF being able to be killed in Windows Task Manager is not an issue, but a normal executable procedure.

        Cheers.
