how weird to see that the smartscan of ASP takes more time than the full scan?

Can you please explain it ? Did you run something else when you did a smartscan or something. Because I think something didn't go well.

If you are referring to my trying out ASP (Advanced Spyware Protector)

I have no answer.

I always run the applications without having anything else on the agenda and I very seldomly use automatic functions in programs.

I have uninstalled the program after it found all those false positives by me that necessitated a re-install of my word book.

It may have found a couple of things that wasn't found by IS360 or AVG, but it was a long scan 55+ minutes.
