Protected folder on a networked drive?

Greetings! Does anyone know if Protected Folder can be installed on a networked drive, most of the network is running Windows 7 pro. We are on a network of probably 30-40 computers at a non-profit

and need to know if this product has the capability to protect the contents on a network drive that everyone has access to? We simply want to secure one folder that has employee personal information on it.
