hybrid sleep

Hi Roman,

1 of W8 concepts was to speed up boot times, now this was done by introducing a new hybrid sleep mode, whereby the computer was not totally shutdown, it is a super hibernation mode for want of a better term.

So if the computer is not shutdown it does not reboot , therefor boot time defrag would not be started.

On my ASUS W8 there is a faststart program and i assume Dell also has a like program, if it has

1) dissable Dell faststart

or

change your power settings see screenshot

and see what happens
