  1. Crazy!!! Just got another automatic scan!! I've disabled & unscheduled it, but it's possessed!!!
  2. Automatic scanning, crazy!!! Yep, it's been happening ever since upgrading to Beta3.
  3. Some questions (I posted in the wrong thread, sorry.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. In ASC Startup Manager, IS360 shows as "unknown". 2. IS360.exe does not show in Windows Task Manager. 3. IS360.exe shows Windows Task Manager after I open it to scan, update and etc. Is ISsrv.exe the same as the bad Interaspy- issrv.exe ? Everything else seems to work fine.
  4. Which one? After applying the fix, should I retry using the update I got from the Windows Update site since 60MB file dump has been downloaded (see attached images) or use the XP SP3 final version 316MB http://www.majorgeeks.com/Microsoft_Windows_XP_Service_Pack_3_d4323.html , where I got the "access denied" warning.
  5. OK, thank you samr, Thanks for the helpful info. I will try the fix at some time, but I got really frustrated with the whole thing. I first downloaded the XP SP3 update from Windows Update and 60MB was the file dump and downloaded fine but wouldn't install ( I didn't disable AVG Free, ZoneAlarm and Spyware Terminator). I tried with everything off ( risky) and no go. I then download the 316MB from Microsoft and got the "access denied" and got real worried about the of the updates went through and the possibilty of pc not running correctly. So far, pc runs fine, but I'm really pissed at Microsoft not clearier about about the thing, maybe product rushed out. I'm seenig alot people not too happy. Something told to wait......, oh well.
  6. Subinacl.exe file Doesn't say it's for XP Home Edition. Can I still use it?
