The Auto-Defrag feature has been running since SmartDefrag was installed. It works automatically and quietly in the background on your PC to keep your hard disk running at maximum speed.Almost all the operating systems usually offer in-built disk defragment tools.

I'm more than happy with this
Note that I changed the color scheme, sorry IObit but the default color scheme was a tad bland

All the best, woz of oz

Thumbs up

There are some translation mistakes in Russian:
Options - Skip files larger than...
"Пропускать файла размером более..." should be "Пропускать файлы размером более..."

The other one is:
Auto Defrag - Pause Auto Defrag when...
"Отключить автоматическую дефрагментации при нагрузке..." should be "Отключить автоматическую дефрагментацию при нагрузке..."

Need new feature add to support USB and other portable devices.

What's about defragmenting of all MFT zone?

Will be better to sign where is the begin(faster part) and the end(slower part) of each disk partition.

Ok Omicron
Thanks!! Hope the Russian translator reads this and sends an update to IObit.
About the faster part of the disk - please read enoskypes thread "Thinking about defragmentation"
The most velocity for data-reading is at the outer rim - the least velocity is at the inner tracks, a physical fact of rotation of the discs that creates the highest velocity at the rim of the disc.
Cheers

Yep! I know that, but I don't know where is the outer rim on the block diagram)
At the top of it?

Hi Omicron
It certainly looks that way when the optimizing has finished.

I would Simply like to be able to maximize the window of Smart Defrag to a full screen. This would allow a clearer view of the Defragmentation Process.
Thanks Born2flyau

Hi born2flyau
I can understand that, however by me it fills my 17" screen almost totally, so I do not need it bigger.

I asked IObit about a resizing ability a long time ago, but at that time they had no plans to implement it.
Perhaps your suggestion can stir some interest in that department now!

Cheers
