Default Sims 3 0xc0000005 [Fixed by reinstall of Sims 3]

I keep on having the same problem every time I try to play The Sims 3 through Game Booster: After a few minutes the program just crashes. Here's the error I got in the diagnosis:

1201 - Time : 7/1/2013 5:02:58 AM
1202 - Source : Application Error
1203 - Description : Faulting application name: TS3W.exe, version: 0.2.0.210, time stamp: 0x51b14ba5
Faulting module name: TS3W.exe, version: 0.2.0.210, time stamp: 0x51b14ba5
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00a8fe80
Faulting process id: 0x47c
Faulting application start time: 0x01ce75d3fc7ce699
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3W.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3W.exe
Report Id: 70b6aa08-e1c8-11e2-addb-002713ddf83f

I've been looking over the web for solutions, and so far I've tried reinstalling the program and all the expansion packs, turning off DEP for all of them, and opening the program directly from the .exe file, all with no success. Does anyone here know anything else I could try?

Hi jaydude,

Thanks for your feedbacks.

Do you have the latest Razer Game Booster 3.7? And you can download it from http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.php

Besides, if you can not play the game Sims 3 even without RGB, it is suggested to communicate with the game producer to help you.

Thanks for supporting IObit

Hi Cicely

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll try downloading the latest version once I finish work.

I don't think I'm having a problem with the game itself, since I've always been able to play it even without RGB.

Just checked, and I do indeed have version 3.7.

Still no luck playing Sims. I just tried accessing it from TS3W.exe, and here's what I got in the diagnosis:

Hi Cicely

Thanks, but after doing another reinstall (this time removing all my previous Sims 3 stuff) it's working fine (so far). As a matter of fact I don't actually think it was a problem with RGB as I tried running the game without it, and I got the same problem. Must have been a dodgy file somewhere that I've deleted by now.

Must also say that I'm finding RGB to be a good, functional product so far, and it definitely works.
