Maximum performance monitor

After upgrading to ASC 12, everything was working. Then the Maximum performance monitor in the upper right corner of my screen stopped opening when I started my computer. The settings showed it was suppose to startup when the computer loaded. I now have to run monitor.exe to have it run. It was working.
