How to find settings for which exes, files etc are allowed to run?

Recommended Posts

As the topic says, I'm trying to find the setting where you can allow specific exes to run specific files like .dat, .txt, all the video and audio files etc.

I don't know how to explain it better, but it always popped up when I ran new exe and ASC window popped up to ask if I want to allow it to run on my computer (with remember check box and "allow" or "deny" options.)

I disabled all the options and clicked "ok" thinking I could momentarily disable it and get it back working after I'm done, but it closed the window and I can't find it anymore from settings, quarantine or anywhere, so now it doesn't warn me when I launch new exe for the first time.

Hi there,

It is much better if you can send us a screenshot of the pop-up you received. However, according to your description, we guess you may mean Anti-ransomware Engine in Protect. Could you please check whether it is helpful if you disable Anti-ransomware Engine.

If it doesn't work, please send us a screenshot of the popup.
