Problem with the remote connection settings

Recommended Posts

I have a problem with the remote connections in windows 10 settings.

When I remote connections allow in the system to control the computer to take over.

The problem now is that when I start advanced systemcare ultimate on it automatically changed the settings of the remote connection and this allows no more to connet the computer I must have to adjust the settings everytime.

Is a solution for this.

Hi marcel39,

Sorry for the trouble. Do you mean the settings changed when you start Advanced SystemCare Ultimate without doing anything with it? Please confirm.

Please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV9.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. Then you will get zipped file IObit_Debug_Info on your desktop. Please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Looking foward to your reply.

Hi marcel39,

Sorry to let you know that the problem was caused by System Reinforce for Windows 10 module in Protect. Please find System Reinforce for Windows 10 under Protect, click Details link to open the window, turn off Remote Assistance Services and Remote Desktop Services in System Reinforce for Windows 10, restart your PC to see if the problem is resolved.

I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

Cheers.

Dear Scannan

that's right i cannot use system reinforce now is there another solution

Hi,

Sorry that I forgot to let know that. We will add the Ignore option in the next update (ASC U9.1). Then you can add the two items in to the ignore list and continue using the System Reinforce function.

Currently, System Reinforce in ASC 9.1 does have such option.

Thanks for your understandig.

System Reinforce for Windows 10 is not the problem. I have some machines on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 10 and some but not all have this problem (some 64bit, some 32Bit). Also on some of the machines, it breaks file and printer sharing but not on others. I sent an email to 'IObit support'<avfeedback@iobit.com> describing the problem yesterday before I found this forum thread. Marcel39 made me try one more thing which allowed me to see exactly what was happening (at least for RDP).

At first I thought that the Scheduled Quick Scan from the ASCU antivirus module was disabling Remote Desktop (RDP) but it is the actual opening of the ASCU UI that causes the problem. Yesterday, I enabled the RDP, opened ASCU, used RegShop to do a snapshot of the registry, ran the quick scan, then did another Regshot snapshot and compared the two. Though RDP was now disabled again, I could not find anything in the 12 or so registry keys that were modified that had anything to do with RDP. After reading Marcel's thread, I repeated the same process but this time, I did the first RegShot Snapshot directly after enabling RDP and did the second Snapshot directly after opening the ASCU UI and there the comparison showed the Terminal Service (RDP) keys that were modified as shown below:

Regshot 1.9.0 x86 Unicode

Others might try this experiment on their PCs. I have ASCU on 30 PCs on a clients site and most but not all of them exhibit this problem. You can download RegShot from https://sourceforge.net/projects/regshot/

Hi jmt@cesnz.co.nz,

We confirm this is caused by System Reinforce. Please click Protection Details in Antivirus tab >> click System Reinforce >> please enable Remote Desktop Services and Remote Assistance Services. Then please turn off System Reinforce as in attached screenshot. If you have it turned on, all items in it will be revert to our default settings when you loading the UI of Advanced SystemCare Ultimate.
