Blue Screen

I notice that a few people have had a problem with ASC causing BSOD. It seems to be somewhat rare as I have over 100 clients that all use ASC and only 1 has reported this issue. 1 of my my 3 personal computers is also experiencing this problem. This issue began before Christmas for both of us. I have tried everything short of a complete windows reinstall. Both my system and my clients system are using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on Solid State Hard Drives. Last night I removed all Iobit software from my computer and then created a restore point. Attempted to reinstall ASC 9 and BSOD occurred at the end of installation. Upon hard reset neither ASC or Uninstaller appeared to have installed correctly. As in the past Firefox, for whatever reason, creates a new user account which could be scary for someone who doesn't know what they're doing. I then used the system restore I had created for this test. Next I attempted installing an older ASC 8 with the exact same results. Again used system restore. If there is anything I can do to help find a solution to this problem, I am willing to use my system as the guinea pig!

Hi Seidenstricker,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please check whether there is Minidump file under C:\windows\Minidump. If so, please zip it and send the zipped file to us so that our specialists can look into the issue.

Thank you very much.

Hi Seidenstricker, welcome to theIObit Forum! :-)

Is the option of checkbox "Write an event to the system log" checked?

PC -> System Properties -> Startup and Recovery -> Settings -> System failure -> Write an event to the system log ------------------ [Kernel memory dump].

Dump file : %SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP

Cheers.

The problem lies in the fact that despite have established ownership of my computer I am still denied access to the minidump file. I tried zip and mail option on right click but access is still denied. Can you talk me through this one please so that I can actually achieve sending you the minidump.
