When I go to settings then system optimization then click on network optimization I see there is one for wireless. The question is what is it optimize for with 802.11? Most of them are now doing 802.11ac and if you look at this router from TP-Link announced the world's first 802.11ad router in January 2016. If you look here You will see tht there are more after 802.11ad.

Or would they all use the same optimization? Thanks

Hi parkd1,

System Optimization optimizes the network by changing the registry value to our recommended value according to the type of your Internet connection. If you are connected with wireless, please choose Wireless for better and more accurate optimization.

Cheers.
