Turbo Boost and Browser Icons

Recommended Posts

I turned Turbo Boost on and it attempted to change all my browser icons to generic ones.

Turning Boost off did not restore the icons.

I would like to know how to restore them. What did Boost actually change? (One thing it did that I caught was to turn off the print spooler!!)

Thanks,

Cy

For Internet explorer

1

Right-click on any blank area on your desktop.

2

Select "New" followed by "Shortcut."

3

Click "Browse" and search through your available program files for your Internet browser program. You will most likely need to choose "Computer" followed by "C:" and "Program Files."

4

Open the folder with the general name of the browser, such as "Internet Explorer" or "Mozilla Firefox." Keep opening subfolders until you locate the correct program. Internet Explorer lists the browser as "iexplore," while Mozilla Firefox is simply listed as "Firefox."

5

Click "OK" once the program is selected, then click "Next."

6

Enter a name for your shortcut if you want to change it from the default.

7

Click "Finish" to create your new Internet icon.

the process should be the same for others

or just simply from other pc copy the browser icons and replace them on your pc.
