Hi luckyny7,

I would say, it is Dial-up, as it is using the phone number and probably modem.

I believe, the provider can give a more definitive answer.

What is your real time connection speed?

You can find information about real time speed in posts #32 & #37 in this thread.

Cheers.

Hi luckyny7,

Assuming your max download speed to be 768 kbps. (You have to learn from your ISP the max download and upload speeds. Broadband is a general term.)

Open "FirefoxTCP OPtimizer" in the "Utilities" of ASC 3, open "TCP Optimize" section, choose "General Settings" tab, from slider, choose "768 KPS", check "Do not modify adapter", "MTU" should read as 1500, "TCP Receive Window" =64240, PPPoE unchecked, "Time to live"=64, TCP 1323 Options "Windows Scaling" checked, "Time Stamps" unchecked.

Leave "Advanced Settings" as they are.

Click "Apply!", restart your PC.

Post the « SpeedGuide.net TCP Analyzer Results » again as you did before.

Check your real time connection speed, and post the result also please.

Cheers.
