toolbox, it always say that it 'failed to launch, please try again later'

..everytime I click something on the toolbox, it always say that it 'failed to launch, please try again later' or something like that..

..is it just me, or is somebody else having this problem? :roll:

I have Never seen that message,

either with the Stand-alone or the ASC versions of Tool-box.

Is there maybe some other program running at the same time,

that is causing that?

Have you checked for corrupted files on hard-drive, using command-line utility?

chkdsk /f or chkdsk /r

It is possible that you have a bad install as well. If you wish to try a clean install, use the guidelines here and here.

..I'm aware of that...but it's just I never had this kind of issue on Betas 1~3.. Is there anything else required to run this properly? The thing is, I just re-installed Windows 7 which is integrated to September updates, and never ran windows update ever since..I think my Windows is missing something(?). :)

I just re-installed Windows 7

 

If you just reformatted using your Win rescue disc, it is important and neccesary that you install the updates... even if it is troublesome and tme consuming!

"Error launch Failed" Message

 

I've got the same problem (xp/sp3+latest updates). Really since v6.0.8 upgrade. Tried uninstall etc as per directions..... baffled?8-)

Please make sure the Internet connection on your computer works well, and then try it again.

Go to settings (under the 3 bars at top) and auto update and make sure "automatically detect proxy" is selected under "proxy"
