Weird performance issue

I have a question. I have been using Gamebooster V3 since yesterday on my laptop and I have been running a couple of tests with a few games (testing with “Fraps”).

 

Now the first game I tested was Skyrim and although (I think this issue was already reported) gamebooster switched back to “normal mode” when starting from the mainmenu I still got an increase of (on average)12 fps compared to playing without gamebooster (went from on average 23 to 35 fps)!

 

After that I tested it with 3 other games (battlefield 3, shogun 2 and Anno 1404: Venice) and this time the games started correctly in “gamemodus”. Weird thing is that with neither of these games I get a single fps more than before.

 

I just use the “boost&launch” button without messing with the settings

 

Can anyone explain this to me?
