Dear IObit users,

Thanks for your long time attention to IObit and our products. It’s been a harsh year for us after the Malwarebytes issue. It’s harsh because we continue seeing the bad effect the issue has on our company reputation. It’s even harsher for us to see more users are misled by the comments of those with evil intentions, and decided not to use our software anymore. We also find that some competitors, who want to pull us down, are making bad words on all IObit software.

Although the Malwarebytes issue had ended one year ago (http://forums.iobit.com/showthread.php?t=4981), and we had paid our price, again, we want to clarify that it was not and never will be our original intention to do that. It is a stupid mistake during the process of beta versions yet the company has to take the responsibility for it and we did. Every company made its mistakes, big or small. Is it fair and right to kill all IObit software, just because one of them had a problem before? Some even claimed we created porn content, We’re not going to respond to that because it’s entirely groundless and ridiculous. Some said we had a not-good reputation on WOT, yes it’s true, but just think about how easily the results can be manipulated.

Actually the worst words we hear is to keep saying we are from China and we are making Chinese crap. This is rude and total racism. We also wish our users will not be misled by such comments and you should decide whether you want to stay with us based on the quality of our products.

Some examples,

We do not have the energy to fight every vicious remark because we put all of it in providing high quality, and beneficial software for you, our dear users.

Cheers,

IObit Team

Hi IObit Guy

IObit is a nice company despite mistakes made.

It is really impressive and kind of IObit to provide a wealth of totally free products - the original free AWC was the program that made me translate the language file (2006) and join the forum (2007) as a form of thank you for the free product.

About ranters and others that attack IObit for personal reasons - this is hard to stop because these people do not listen to reason and only follow their own agenda.

So my advice is to continue providing quality products. This will eventually still almost all criticism.

Personally I would prefer the beta versions to first be tested by a select group, before being released to the general public.

Best regards

solbjerg
