Where are the shortcuts?

I run the shortcut fixer as part of my regular scan. Often it finds shortcuts to files which I have deleted (or shredded) on an external hard drive. I know of no reason why files on an external hard drive would need to setup a shortcut, however I'd like to look (somewhere) at the shortcuts I currently have and see If I can preemptively delete them.

I have been unable to find anything online about exactly where these shortcuts are stored (I kinda suspect the registry) and was wondering if anyone here knows where ASC searches when looking for invalid shortcuts. I would appreciate it.

ASC 7.3 Pro, Win7 x64.

Thanks,

Bob
