Language files for IObit Malware Fighter v2

Recommended Posts

Turkish language file for IMF v2.0

Turkish lanuage file for IMF v2.0 is attached as Last_Final_Turkish_IMF2.0

ATTENTION IObit: http://forums.iobit.com/images/icons/icon4.gif

Initializing..., Suspect Registry..., Suspect Files...

are not translatable when Custom Scanning System Critical Area. (See attached image 5 please.)

Performance, Security, etc.

are not translatable in Action Center section. (See attached image 6 please.)

Active Error title,

on small window when empty license code is enabled in License Manager, is not translatable. (See the attached images 3 & 4 please.)

(Note that, Active Error title on small window, when wrong license code is entered, is translated correctly.)

Ex: 5Fb1b-ACA13-A0FFB-5DD1A (The example license code)

should be in a string, because Ex: is shortened version of Example in English, so can not be translated. (See attached image 4 please.) It was OK in IMF 1.7.

In certain languages,

1) When Scheduling is adjusted for Every Day for updating and scanning in Settings, some letters appear instead of correct wording.

Example : mu, r, da, mu appears in Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Polish languages respectively. (See attached image 2 please.) In English, Chinese and Russian languages, the words appear correctly.

(Note that all of the examples are tried in English Windows 8 OS. Anyway, it was the same for IMF1.7 in English W7 and English W8.)

2) Some special Unicode lower case letters appear bigger and bolder on GUI.

Examples : ů,ř,č in Czech, - ő in Hungarian, - ş,ğ,ı in Turkish, - ą,ę,ć,ń,ś,ż in Polish (See attached image 1 please.)

I think the problem is the font used in some parts of the GUI.

Cheers.

Hello Mikołaj,

We appreciate that you help us translate the language file. However, one of our warm-hearted users has already sent us the translation for Polish Language. Would you mind helping us review the translation as IMF 2 will be released soon?

Thanks for your understanding and your precious time.

DEAR IOBIT,

I am sorry to say but using language database in IObit to modify the language files by IObit, is causing the language files to be mixed SOUP!!! :-x

Each language file has a consistency in itself and should not be mixed with an old one, as the latest ones have less errors.

Languages are very complicated in their own structure and same words mean differently in different sentence structures, forget about the prefixes and suffixes.

Mixing old and new is worst than not having a specific language file for a release!!!

I hope that IObit will not insist on using this method.

BTW, except example license code (e.g.:5Fb1b-ACA13-A0FFB-5DD1A), all bugs, specially long lasting schedule bug, that I have mentioned in post #5 are corrected in IMF 2.0 Final. (Well..., scan_initialize=Initializing under [iMF_M] is still missing.)

Thank you very much.

Cheers.

Dear enoskype,

Moreover, we confirm the string "scan_initialize=Initializing" is already existing and will sure to use your latest Turkish language file Turkish_IMF2.0_Final.lng

Hi Mikołaj,

Of course, I do remember you are our warm-hearted translator and also reported a bug in the installation process.

Regarding the bug. I'd like to let you know that we can correct the Polish translation. But I am afraid the translation "Nie akceptuję" you suggested is too long to display. It will beyond the button. Do you have a suitable word for "Decline" in Polish?

Cheers.

Please check the English.lng ( http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=11712&d=1368620122 ) in your post #9 in this thread for the string scan_initialize=Initializing. :-D

But you are right, it exists in the released setup file.

All the best and cheers.
