I've been using ASC for a long time so I loaded MF. I don't like the fact that it always shows an exclamation point in my system tray and I especially dislike that I can't auto update w/o buying. Considering removing MF...

Like many free decent Anti-malware progs, (MBAM,SAS, etc).

all updates have to be manually applied.

However IObit going 1 better if you leave this icon on the toolbar, you will get pop-ups advising you "new update available"

 

The exclamation mark on the icon is an advisory to tell you that all functions

are NOT covered.

You can quite easily, remove/change display icon options, use the toolbar changer

right click on toolbar>properties>customise>select IMF> change option to

only show notifcations, or hide
