Malware Fighter disables features upon PC crash

Hi,

 

I game a lot, so on the odd occasion it makes my PC crash and I have to restart. Upon logging back into windows, I check in the system tray to see the caution symbol over MF. It appears that the Anti-ransom, Bitdefender engine, Security Reinforce, Camera Guard, USB Disk Guard and Malicious Action are disabled. Anyway to stop this from happening?

Do you mean that you PC crashes when you play games and then you found that some features of IMF were disabled after reboot? What are the games that you are playing?

 

Please give us more details and download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe.

 

Double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click 'Save report'.

 

After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click 'OK' button to open that saved folder.

 

Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

I play everything I can get my hands on, but it's not the game itself what makes it crash. Say, I switch from Fullscreen mode to windows mode, sometimes it'll just make my screen go black and there's nothing I can do but restart. Now, I've searched this up and it's supposedly a driver issue so I reinstalled my drivers. But I do wonder why the features get disabled? I mean, it's not a big deal because the crashing doesn't happen a lot.

I just restarted my PC (just restarting, didn't crash) and I come back to MF Bitdefender, Anti-ransome and security reinforce disabled.
