IMF 1.2 Pro uses too much CPU in XP! [SOLVED by IMF 1.2 debug version (1.2.0.16)]

Recommended Posts

When IMF 1.2 is running even in idle in system tray, uses 60-88 % of CPU and csrss.exe is using the rest, totalling to 100 % .

IMF 1.2 triggeres the csrss.exe usage.

IMF 1.11 did not do that.

This is in XP Pro sp3 x32 @ VAIO VGN-TX790P.

A/V is MSE.

HERE is the link to IObit Cloud clean report for the specific csrss.exe

Cheers.

Is there anybody out there?

Well, back to IMF 1.11 in that laptop!

I think, IWsIMF.exe is the culprit of this case.

Could it be the new realtime logging?

This problem does not exist in Windows 7 sp1 and Vista sp2.

I wonder if it is that Sony laptop specific.

EDIT:

Update: It is not specific to that laptop, exactly same in Virtual XP Pro . (In Win7 Pro x32)

Back to IMF 1.11 in Virtual XP too. :-(

ANY RESPONSE IObit?

Cheers.

Thanks for the info Buddahfan, but not in two completely different XP configurations and also no excess csrss activity when IMF 1.2 is not runnıng in both PCs.

Also no excess activity when IMF 1.11 is running in both PCs.

No such problem when IMF 1.2 is run in Vista and Windows 7.

Cheers.
