IMF Pro won't update

Hello,

 

Today I purchased IMF Pro (for 2 PC's) after inadvertently downloading the Live Security Platnum virus.

 

I already had the FREE version of IMF, but wnated to make sure I was extra secure thus the purchase.

 

It should be noted that I already had the Pro version of ASC 2013 installed and working.

 

It seems now the pro version of IMF won't update.

 

It states: definition version 1024 (2011-05-06)

 

I read these forums and followed everything stated such as:

 

- deleting the free version and ALL associated files

- using BitRemover

- using Iobit-Uninstaller

- restarting my PC

- installing the new version

- doing the above 3 times

 

and following ALL of the advice given but my version IMF Pro v1.0 still will not update.

 

The strange thing is when I installed it on my sisters PC it updated fine.

 

The update buttons WILL NOT work.

 

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.:grin:

Please download the latest version from the link in IMF IObit Malware Fighter 1.5 is available! (NEW) thread and try updating.

 

You can also manually update the definition database from the last post of IObit Malware Fighter latest OFFLINE DATABASE thread.

The instructions to install the database are in the first post of that thread.
