Is it safe to run both IMF and Windows Defender together?

is it okay to have both Iobit IMF 1.6 and Windows Defender running in the background together?

While there should be no problem having both on your pc, you can only have one running realtime protection. Otherwise you will have conflicts. So you decide which one you want to run realtime and the other can be run manually as an additional security check

if i want to run windows defender, should i first disable IMF and the re-enable IMF after windows defender is done?

Please describe your system and complete the details within you User CP located at the top left of the main forum GUI. IMF and Windows Defender are most often compatable with each other as neither is an A/V and neither delves deeply... you will only be slowing your system by running them both... consider the reputation of Windows defender versus IobitMalwareFighter and make your choice for real-time protection.

It won't matter much... only slow your machine a bit. What is your ram and processor?
