Surprise AV programme.

While doing a Windows defender full scan today,

I noticed a prog called Bullguard AV seemed to have an awful lot of files on my pc. Is it part of windows defender?

I have never installed that on my pc, when I looked for it in iobit uninstaller

it wasn't listed.

Should I just delete any files relating to Bullguard if I can find them?

I already have iobit AV prog.

Any ideas what I can do? Keep it simple please, old fogey here.

Download Bullguard Uninstall from author's site

 

 

1) Download the BullGuard uninstall program and save it to a location of your choice.

2) Disable the BullGuard Anti-Virus program.

3) Run the BullGuard Uninstall program and follow the prompts.

 

The program allows you to completely remove BullGuard Anti-Virus. When you run this program it will search your computer for installations of BullGuard and remove any files and configuration settings that are found.

 

I hope this is simple enough. :lol:

for your info,

Bulldog comes as standard on most medion pc's, on mine (W7) when i bought it, comes with 30 day trial, but looking at your profile your running 2 AV's defender and ASCU6, you dont need both.

I just dropped here to share one IMPORTANT thing.

 

BullGuard + ASCU6 + Windows Defender is a NO NO!!!

 

You just need one good antivirus program!

If you have more than one they will create conflicts, and even if they don`t, it`s generally considered bad for you systems performance and even security.
