Does Software Updater disable the software updater in ASC, Drivers Booster or Unistaller ?

  • Does Software Updater disable the software updater in ASC, Drivers Booster or Unistaller ?

    Does installing IObit Software Updater Pro disable the software updater feature in other IObit software ? If not, how do I disable the features myself ?

    Hi Jeffreycox,

    Thank you for your feedback. Software Updater is a feature of Advanced SystemCare and IObit Uninstaller. There is no way to disable it.

    IObit Software Updater is a stand-alone product. It has a larger database and support more programs.

    Installing IObit Software Updater won't disable the software update feature in other products.

      May I suggest to make IObit software smarter? for example, if IOBit Software Updated is installed, then automatically IOBit ASC software updater and IObit Uninstaller Software updater to be disabled.

      AND to make this efficient, to make IObit software updater to ALSO support 100% the software that ASC software Updater and IObit Uninstaller Software updater support.

      For example, Winrar update is being detected by ASC software updater but not by stand alone IObit Software Updater, even IObit Software Updater is not detecting winrar at all

        Thank you for your suggestion.

        I'm sorry to say that IObit Software Updater, IObit Uninstaller, and Advanced SystemCare are stand-alone products. IObit Software Updater can't disable the feature in other products.
        Your suggestion has been recorded, will forward the Product Managers of these three products.

        IObit Software Updater has support WinRAR 5.80 version in December. Can you please open IObit Software Updater now to confirm if there is an available update?
        If there is still no update, please kindly follow the steps below to help us further look into it.

        1. Please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/GetIObitCo...onFile_isu.exe

        2. Double click GetIObitConfigurationFile_isu to run it, click the button 'Save report to Desktop'

        3. Wait for a while until you see a file su_logs_YYYYMMDD.log generated on your desktop. ( YYYYMMDD should be the actual date when this file is generated.)

        4. Send that file su_logs _YYYYMMDD.log to us via support@iobit.com.
