What to do? This is the message that appears when I have tried to install Uninstaller 8 which used to be installed but went away for unknown reason and now can not be brought back.

Error creating registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\IObit Uninstaller_is1

RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 5.

Access is denied.

Hi,

We have worked out a tool to fix the issue.

  • Download the fix tool from the link below

http://tickets.iobit.com/index.php?r=site/download&fileName=attachment%2FKHAI5c2191e8088ac.exe&displayName=FixTool.exe

Note: Please copy and paste the link to your browser address bar.

  • Run FixTool.exe and then click the Fix button to start fixing.

After the fix, please install IObit Uninstaller again to see if still any issue.

Thanks,

Hi,

I tried to follow the link above, but when I do I get the following message:

"Invalid Page URL. If this is an error and the page should exist, please contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message."

I have exactly the problem that this tool should be able to fix.

Can you post a link to where I can get the FixTool file?

Thanks.
