Hi, I need some clarification on whether I need MacBooster when running Parallels on Mac. There are a few Windows apps that I use Parallels for but I can't work out whether using MacBooster can detect Windows viruses or malware within Parallels. Thanks!

When you run Parallels on your Mac to use Windows applications, the virtualized Windows environment is separate from your macOS system. Therefore, any antivirus or antimalware software you use within the Windows virtual machine, such as Windows Defender or third-party security solutions, would be responsible for detecting and protecting against Windows-based threats.

While MacBooster may not directly detect Windows viruses or malware within Parallels, it can still be useful for maintaining and optimizing your Mac's performance as a whole. It can help clean up unnecessary files, manage startup items, and provide other system optimization features that can benefit your overall Mac experience.
