Programs will not open

Hi: I get message

Messages File :C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\ProtectedFolder\unins000.msg" is missing. Please correct the problem or obtain a new copy of the program.

 

I reinstalled from my Downloads folder. It installed has the unins000.msg file but nothing will open, so I need HELP!

 

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks for your nessage, I did what you said right after posted your reply.

 

I'm very anxious to get a fix as nothing works, not even my CD drive

When I click your link Cicely I get Catitude

 

Edit: It seems that enoskype must have made a mistake in the offered link - please try the link left by Scannan.

I would suggest that you do a clean install (guide to concept in my signature) to try to make it work - AFTER you have contacted Cicely and made your protected folder available to you - and unprotected the contents until you have the new application up and running.

I am assuming that you sent a PM to Cicely (this is the correct link) as requested, and hopefully she will reply to you asap.

In the meantime, please try opening the Rescue centre in ASC and restore your system to a time before the problem occurred. Please let us know if this resolves the issue.
