Locked C Drive with Protected Folder, can't access my computer now???!!!????

Hi Folks, I very stupidly locked my C drive with Protected Folder by mistake as I was working late and tbh nodded off while doing this. Stupid I know. Was meant to navigate further within the C Drive and select some folders to lock, didn't get that far and must have but return because all icons disappeared on desktop and when I tried to access items from start menu just keep getting access denied message! What now!? I've stuffed up big time! Only thing I can think of is to run my Puppy Linux live CD and remove Protected Folder from the system but just wanted to double check that this is safe to do as I use this computer for my business with a lot of sensitive business related information on it. Please anyone able to steer this poor fool in the right direction? Thanks in advance

Hi m1cha3l,

Welcome to IObit Forum!

In this case, please start your computer into Safe Mode to uninstall Protected Folder to solve the issue. Guide to boot in safe mode : http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm

Then you can reinstall Protected Folder from the link http://www.iobit.com/downloadcenter.php?product=protected-folder-registered

Have a good day!
