Negative fragmentation rate

When i analyzed my WD 1TB external hard drive today i got...

 

"Fragmentation Rate: -8.79%"

 

With 0 fragmented files.

 

What does negative mean? :smile:

I can't tell whether it is a minus or a hyphen or a dash (en-dash)

Did you copy and paste it?

Do you get it on your other disks too fx. your Solid State Disk?

I can't get it by me - my OS is XP, and my SD is version 2.9

No, it no longer shows a negative fragmentation rate, and yeah is was a copy/paste.

 

It appears to have only happened that one time and only on that hard drive, since then it hasn't shown up.

 

Right now it shows...

 

Total File & Dirs: 11,158

Fragmentation Rate: 0.00%

Fragments: 0
