Defrag without Administrator rights

I have a Windows 2003 domain with XP desktops. Most of the users do not have administrator rights to their desktops. I want to schedule a defrag to run once a week without giving the users administrative rights to their desktops.

Run by schedule?

 

Can you not just set it to run on a schedule automatically when nobody is working... or just enable auto defrag on start up and leave it in the system tray... then it will defrag when system resources are not being used.

I'm using 1.3 to defrag the users desktops and looking to defrag their local hard drive without giving them administrative rights to the desktop.

Our users do not have administrative rights to their desktops in order to keep malware, viruses and non-sanctioned software off the computer. Unfortunately, then they cant run Smart Defrag or Windows Defrag. Is there a workaround?

Many Domain-network users have asked that question, many times,

for a log time.

And evidently IObit programmers do not want to attempt to change and Defeat the way Domains are designed to work,

which is what that Major change would be.

Someone that has Admin rights will need to log in,

but that could be done Remotely, on the network.
