Report Page Empty After Optimize ?

This is the 3rd time I have seen this happen.

This time I was doing a Full Optimize of an external drive, that only has file copies on it. It had not been defraged for about 2 months, so it was Very fragmented and took more than an hour to complete the optimize.

But when it completed the Report page was Empty, showing nothing had been defraged.

This happens very intermitently and I was not running any other programs at same time (other than background security software) , so I can not figure out what may be causing the problem.

But there is definitly a Problem with the Report page! :-(

 

It does not seem to have any negative effect on the defrag/optimize operation though.

I remember we have talked about this issue before and we found one reason of it.

 

So, there must be some other reason caused this issue.

 

Do you have another try and the issue be replicated again?

If so, please take a screenshot.

Okay, I will try to do that, but a screenshot will not show much, other than a completely empty report page. :sad:

 

(I forgot to mention that the Before&After Rate graphs were reading 0.% and the summary info was blank, also)

Did your screen shot look like the attached. Or totally blank in the summary. If it doesn't look like the attached screen shot, please take a screen shot of it and send it to us. Our specialists may get more information to investigate this issue from the screen shot.

I'm pretty sure that there was No Files&Dirs data in the Summary section also, but other than that it looked the same as your screenshot.

I will certainly get a screenshot when and if I see it again.

same thing happind to me n i get the same pic of (Cicely) put it, but with some change.. i didn't get any numbers on summary i get ony (-)..., n on Before & After i get (70% & 45%)... n i use it for Defragment

i use win XP Pro SP3, FAT32 (15.2GB with 6.2 Free)
